GUWAHATI: Northeast chapter of Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation (JSF) observed Kati Bihu at Assam State Zoo in Guwahati on Saturday. In accordance with the programme, a Tulsi worshiping ceremony was also held during the programme. Besides the rituals of the Kati Bihu, more than 50 thousand volunteers took pledge to continue their fight against population explosion.
Sailendra Pandey, Chairman of JSF Northeast chapter explained the seriousness of the problem of population explosion.
