Guwahati: In a shocking and tragic incident a young, budding journalist of a news website was killed in a road accident on Monday late night at Radhachura Road of Sundarpur, Guwahati.
The deceased has been identified as Dimpy Kashyap, aged around 22.
According to reports, Dimpy was returning home from office along with her colleague Arup Moran. She was driving the scooty and Arup was at the pillion.
According to reports the young journalist rammed her scooty into a light post at Zoo Road. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and was having breathing problems.
However, despite the best efforts from doctors Dimpy couldn’t survive the injuries from the accident and breathe her last at around 11:30 PM.
Dimpy Kashyap’s colleague Arup Moran, who was also seriously injured is being treated at Gate Hospital, Guwahati.
Dimpy Kashyap studied Mass Communication and Journalism from Cotton University. She was a bright budding journalist who lost her life.
