GUWAHATI: The family members, friends and colleagues of Santanu Das who had died in a road mishap on Chandmari flyover in Guwahati paid tributes to him on Saturday evening.
Santanu Das who was a resident of Nayanpur, Ganeshguri was an employee of Axis Bank in Guwahati. The accident took place on Wednesday(March 10) after a speeding Maruti Swift (AS-01DV-4330) hit his bike from behind. Das was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.

People in hundreds including his friends and family members gathered in the accident spot to pay tributes to the deceased.
Speaking to Newslive Bijoy Misra said, “On 10 March, our brother Santanu Das stopped here to receive a phone call and a speeding car hit him from behind. The car also smashed the railing along the road. Today we have gathered here demanding justice for him and for his eternal peace.”
“Today I have lost my brother. I want justice for my brother, this is my only request to our Government. I cannot get my brother back but at least I can get him justice,” said Santanu’s sister.
