GUWAHATI: Thirty four people who came into contact with Guwahati’s first COVID19 patient Manish Tibrewal tested negative for COVID19. This has been revealed by Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Speaking to media Dr. Sarma said, “ We tested 36 people who came into contact wwith Manish Tibrewal. 34 people have tested negative. They came into contact with Tibrewal on March 17. So We are releasing them. They will be on home quarantine.”
“However, the results of 3 among them are at border line. So they will stay at our quarantine camp,” Dr. Sarma added.
