GUWAHATI: Following the detection of more COVID-19 positive cases at Panbazar in Guwahati, the containment zone has been extended by the Kamrup (Metro) district administration.
“In view of the notification issued notifying CONTAINMENT ZONE covering Arihant Apartment, Panbazar, issued vide order no. No. DDMA-K(M) 03 /2020/302; Dated: 06/06/2020 and considering further detection of more persons with COVID-19 positive in the area, in the interest of containment of further spread of COVID-19 in the area, all shops and business establishments located on the Colonel J. All Road from City Pharmacy Point to Railgate no. 2 at Lakhtokia are barred from operating for next 7 days w.e.f today, i.e. 11 June 2020 morning,” stated in an official order.
