GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Sarusajai screening and quarantine facility in Guwahati on Thursday. Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma accompanied the chief minister and briefed him about the arrangements made to deal with COVID-19 situation.
“I updated him with the latest information including well being of those under quarantine here,” tweeted health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma after Sonowal’s visit to Sarusajai.
The Sarusajai stadium has been playing a pivotal role in terms of screening and quarantine of those who have returned from other states.
