GUWAHATI, Jan 10: The body of a young woman working at a business outlet has been recovered from her rented accommodation in Rukmini Nagar locality of Guwahati.
Biplabi Nath, hailing from Goalpara, was found dead at her renthouse today morning.
Police arrived at the house where the body was recovered and have begun their investigations while sending the body to Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for a post-mortem.
This is the third incident where a young girl has been found dead in a rented premises in the past 10 days.
While a young woman named Payal Saikia was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at an apartment in Chandmari on Jan 1, police found another woman in Tarun Nagar locality of the city yesterday (Jan 9) who was also found hanging from the kitchen window.
