In a sensational incident that has led to shock among people of Guwahati, the body of what is believed to be a child was found stuffed inside a trolley bag and and dumped near an isolated street at Indira Nagar in Guwahati’s Basistha locality.
A person looking for garbage noticed the bag and then spotted a human leg, believed to be that of a minor child.
The man informed local residents who in turn informed the police.
A team from Basistha Police Station arrived at the spot and are awaiting for a magistrate to open the bag.
“It’s a sensational incident. I live nearby and have come to see what has happened. The police have arrived and it is believed that it’s a body that is inside the bag. They are waiting for a magistrate to open the bag and see what’s inside,” a woman living near the area told News Live.
Once the bag is opened, the identity of the person will be known.
