GUWAHATI: All the 6 new COVID-19 patients detected late night on Monday in Guwahati were shifted to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in the city for treatment. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma personally monitored the evacuation and transfer of the patients to the MMCH.
Out of the 6 positive cases detected late night, 5 #COVID19 patients have been evacuated and admitted to MMCH. One person is untraceable and I have put @assampolice on the job to trace him by morning.

Though one person named Jitendra Patil had gone missing, Assam Police traced the patient and shifted him to the hospital.
The alert personnel of @GuwahatiPol traced Jitendra Patil, one patient out of 6 who had gone missing, and he is also being shifted to MMCH.

Assam on Monday reported total 15 COVID-19 positive cases. Out of these, 7 cases were from Guwahati. While one person died at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) prior to the detection of COVID-19, the remaining six patients are currently being treated at MMCH.
