Guwahati: 8 doctors, nurses discharged from quarantine at Taj Vivanta


GUWAHATI: Eight doctors and nurses have been discharged from quarantine at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Guwahati on Wednesday evening. The doctors and nurses were under quarantine after treating COVID-19 patients for 7 days. They were discharged in the presence of Assam heath minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and minister of state for health and family welfare Pijush Hazarika.

“They were under quarantine for 14 days after treating COVID-19 patients for 14 days. They have been discharged after their medical tests came out as negative. We express our heartfelt gratitude to them on behalf of the people of Assam for their dedicated service.”

As on Wednesday, there are 70 doctors and nurses under quarantine at Hotel Taj Vivanta.
