GUWAHATI: Six doctors and nurses who were under quarantine at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Guwahati after having treated COVID-19 patients for 7 days have been discharged today. There were total 43 doctors and nurses under quarantine at the hotel. After the discharge of 3 doctors and 3 nurses, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude to them for their contributions in the fight against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the health workers also thanked minister Sarma who is leading the state’s fight against COVID-19.
“He is taking the responsibility of the elder son for mother Assam. He has been working tirelessly,” said a health worker.
