GUWAHATI: Six COVID-19 patients have been discharged from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati on Friday. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stated in a Tweet that the patients were discharged after they had tested negative twice for COVID-19.
With the discharge of the six patients, the number of recovered people in Assam has gone up to 109. While the State has reported total 910 COVID-19 cases, there are 794 active cases at present.
