GUWAHATI: A man was killed in a grenade explosion at Tingrai market of Digboi in Tinsukia district on Friday. The victim has been identified as one Sanjib Sen (25).
Three other persons were also injured in the blast.
“It was around 1 PM when a customer came to our shop. Then the explosion took place. The customer and two other persons were also injured,” said an eye-witness.
Meanwhile, police started investigation to unearth the further details.
“Our top officials including DIG arrived on the spot. We are investigating the case,” said Tinsukia SP.
