Taking a jibe at the Congress party, BJP’s Pijush Hazarika said that this is the last battle of prestige for Congress.

“Campaigning by BJP and Congress parties have been going in on full swing since the last few days. While the GMC polls have become a last remaining battle of prestige for the Congress, more so, after its devastating performance in the recently concluded Rajya Sabha polls, the BJP, on the other hand, has been making steady headway with chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma leading the party’s campaign trail from the front,” Hazarika commented.
