CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said he will have all documentary evidence to prove his allegations against Gaurav Gogoi by September 10 when the SIT formed to investigate the allegations will complete its probe
Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma Tuesday (May 6) upped his attack on Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi saying the Jorhat MP allegedly took 90 youths to the Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi for radicalisation.
He also reiterated his allegations against the Congress MP’s British wife saying she was receiving a salary from Pakistan while working in New Delhi.
CM Dr Sarma further stated that Gogoi, Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, had even raised pro-Pakistan questions in Parliament, saying that stringent action would be taken against the Congress MP since the allegations are very serious in nature and related to Pakistan, an enemy nation.
“Gaurav Gogoi travelled to Pakistan and stayed there for 15 days. His wife who is a British citizen had also travelled with him but returned to India after staying in Pakistan for a week. These are startling information. We have evidence and we will collect all information and make them public by September 10,” Chief Minister Dr Sarma said, adding that he will hand over all evidence to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Malikarjun Kharge.
