GUWAHATI: The classes for undergraduate degree courses at Gauhati University will start from November 1. The Gauhati University in Assam has issued a new academic calendar for 2020-21 and 2021-22 sessions on Thursday.
The undergraduate and postgraduate admissions will be completed by October 31 and the classes for undergraduate odd semesters in the affiliated colleges and university campus will commence from November 1 said the academic calendar.
Postgraduate (PG) third-semester classes in affiliated colleges and university campus will also start on November 1. The postgraduate first semester classes will start on November 18.
The next semester-end examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses would be held between March 8 and March 26 next year.
