Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024: After a long wait of 14 years, the Telangana government has finally brought back the state’s top film awards, now with a new name – the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, in memory of the legendary poet and activist Gaddar. The winners were officially announced on May 29, and the awards ceremony will take place on June 14, 2025, at HITEX, Hyderabad.

The awards are now named after Gaddar, a revolutionary balladeer whose songs inspired generations. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had announced this major cultural revival back in January 2024, and now it’s finally coming to life.
