GUWAHATI: Police has arrested four more accused in the mob-lynching case at Mariani in upper Assam’s Jorhat district. The four accused identified as Pintu Nayak, Bhaikan Borah, Ramesh Sabar and Dipak Sabar have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the horrific killing of Debasish Gogoi. Police also arrested another man identified as Nitesh Nayak for posting objectionable comments on Social Media.
Earlier police arrested four accused for their involvement in the incident where a mob killed a youth named Debasish Gogoi following a minor road accident. Another youth Aditya Das was seriously injured in the assault and is currently under treatment.
