GUWAHATI: Test mules of the EcoSport facelift edition have been spotted for the first time in India. This will probably be the second update for the crossover SUV before its next-gen model launch.

The new facelift edition is identical to the current EcoSport and will only have different front looks, as seen in the test car. The car’s front bumper has been completely redesigned. It features new L-shaped daytime running lights and a new square fog lamp housing. Also, the new 5-spoke design alloy will come attached to the car.
According to sources, the new Ford EcoSports will offer the same petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 120 BHP and 149 Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The updated 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 99 BHP and 215 Nm and is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
