GUWAHATI, Oct 12: The five under-trial prisoners who made a daring Bollywood-movie-like jailbreak are yet to be apprehended although Morigaon Police have launched a massive hunt to nab them.

The under-trial prisoners escaped from the Morigaon District Jail by first breaking the rods of the barracks and then crossed the 50-foot jail wall with the help of blankets, lungis and bed sheets.

Saifuddin, Ziarul Islam, Nur Islam, Mafidul and Abdul Rashid were all booked under the POSCO Act in separate cases.

Meanwhile, Prasanta Saikia, the jailor of Morigaon District Jail was suspended for dereliction of duty while an inquiry has also been ordered to probe the incident.
