GUWAHATI: Five people were injured in five separate road accidents that took place in Guwahati on Thursday.
According to the bulletin on road accidents issued by the Guwahati Traffic Police, five separate road accidents of non-fatal nature took place in the city on Thursday.
The accidents happened opposite SIRD Meghalaya side, Khanapara on NH 37, on NH 37 at 13th mile, near ASTC gate Paltanbazar, AT Road, near Sani Mandir at Narengi and near Cabin Chowk at Noonmati.
The Guwahati Traffic Police has asked the drivers to drive carefully on the highways. It also urged the pedestrians to use the footpaths while walking. Similarly installation of street lights at the Noonmati venue has been advised.
