GUWAHATI: Tripura has registered its first COVID19 positive case on Monday taking the tally in Northeast to 31.
“First #COVID19 positive case detected at Tripura. The patient is from Udaipur. Don’t Panic, we are taking proper care of the patient,” Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb Tweeted.

Among other Northeaster states, Assam has so far reported 26 Coronavirus positive cases, 2 in Manipur, one each in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
Meghalaya, Sikkim and Nagaland are still unaffected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
