GUWAHATI: A Hyundai car(WB-6E-5265) was gutted in fire in Sonaram High school playground, Guwahati on Wednesday.
According to reports, the car caught fire at around 7:30 AM.
Police and local people rushed to the spot and tried to douse the fire with water but could not save the vehicle.
There were no reports of injuries from the fire and the reason for the fire is still unknown and is under investigation.
It is to be mentioned that the Hyundai car was seized two days back by Bharalumukh Police Station and was parked in the Sonaram School Playground.
