GUWAHATI: Pictures of Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and popular singer Zubeen Garg hugging each other at Filmfare Awards Ceremony on Saturday night are doing rounds on social media.
Garg who was in the forefront of Anti-CAA movement in Assam expressed his resentment against the chief minister on several occasions.
Though a section of Assam artistes decided to boycott the award ceremony as a mark of protest against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act, Zubeen Garg attended the event on Saturday night. He opined that events like Filmfare Awards should take place in Assam.
