GUWAHATI: Amid ongoing war of words between Assam multi-portfolio cabinet minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) chief Hagrama Mohilary, the latter claimed that the fight in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) would be between the two leaders.

“The fight is between Himanta Biswa Sarma and me. The fight is with dada. Leave aside Ferenga, Biswajit or Pramod. Now the fight is between dada and me,” Mohilary said.

Earlier on Tuesday, Mohilary said that he shares a cordial relation with Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“Our conflict is of understanding. Today, he will attack me at Harisinga and Dhanshhree. I will hit back him tomorrow,” Mohilary said.

On the other hand, addressing an election rally in Udalguri, minister Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed that the BJP would form the BTC government this year.

“This time, there will be a BJP government at Kokrajhar. It is 100 per cent sure,” Sarma said.

He stated that the fight is not about Hagrama Mohilary, Pramod Boro or Himanta Biswa Sarma, but it is all about the development of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

“The people will decide for the development of the BTR,” Sarma added.
