France sealed a 2-1 win vs England in their quarter-final fixture of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar on Sunday.
The defending champions took the lead via a long-range effort from Aurelien Tchouameni in the 17th-minute. England equalised after Harry Kane converted a penalty in the 54th-minute, followed by Oliver Giroud restoring France’s lead in the 78th-minute.
