GUWAHATI: Assam Police has alerted the citizens of the state about a fake news on the shortage of salt in Assam. Assam Police has clarified that there is no shortage of salt in the state.
“Some mischievous elements are trying to spread rumours about the – ‘Shortage of Salt’ in Assam. This is fake, untrue and baseless. There is no shortage of salt,” Assam Police stated in Social Media.
“More than enough stocks of all essentials, including Salt are available.Citizens are requested not to pay any heed to rumours,” it added.
