Everyone will leave Hagrama Mohilary’s company: Pramod Boro

GUWAHATI: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) president Pramod Boro on Wednesday claimed that all the leaders and workers of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) will leave Hagrama Mohilary’s company.

After attending an interactive session at Kokrajhar Science College, Boro said that the BPF members are aggrieved with the 17 years of autocracy of Hagrama Mohilary and the activities of minister Chandan Brahma. Therefore, many BPF functionaries have been joining the UPPL.

He claimed that around half of the BPF leaders and members have already joined the UPPL.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, former All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) leader Dipak Kumar Basumatary joined the Pramod Boro-led party.

“We are addressing thousands of supporters today at Medaghat under Mushalpur constituency who gathered to mark an auspicious day.

I thank Dipak Kumar Basumatary Former President ABSU, Former Vice-President Bodo Sahitya Sabha for joining UPPL and his determination to work for the development of the region and its people,” Boro posted on his official Facebook page.
