Elections for as many as 56 of the Rajya Sabha seats in 15 states will be held on February 27, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Monday.
The last date for filing nomination papers will be February 15.
Polling will be held between 9 am and 4 pm.
The Election Commission said that 50 members of these Rajya Sabha seats will retire on April 2, while as many as six will do so on April 3.
