GUWAHATI: The Assam government has declared ‘Dry day’ on May 2 and 3 on account of counting of votes for assembly elections on May 2.
The excise department issued orders to all the deputy commissioners, sub-divisional officers and excise superintendents of the State.
The order stated that dry day would not be applicable on May 3 in the districts where results of all the seats would be declared by 11 AM on May 3.
