GUWAHATI: Assam Police arrested one drug peddler in Lakhimpur district on Tuesday. The drug peddler was arrested from Banderdewa area in an operation led by officer-in-charge of Laluk Police Station and his team.
Police seized 25 grams of heroin from his possession.
“Drugs is a social menace and we need co-operation from all to eradicate it. Please contact SP, Lakhimpur at 6026900825 if you have any info,” Lakhimpur Police said in a tweet after the successful operation.
