GUWAHATI: In a major development, Assam Police arrested two accused in connection with the murder case of businessman Debajit Sinha on Diphu-Dhansiri Road in Karbi Anglong on May 15.
Police arrested the two accused – Francis Engti and Waisong Terang on Tuesday. Both of them are residents of Diphu.
Police also recovered a pistol along with ammunition.
“In connection with Dhansiri murder case, two accused have been apprehended namely Sri Francis Engti R/o Manja and Sri Waisong Terang R/o Diphu. Pistol used in incident along with ammunition has been recovered,” ADGP GP Singh tweeted.
