Guwahati: In an innovative way, Dibrugarh Police in Assam inaugurated a Patrol Management System (PMS) by fitting GPS devices in 54 of police vehicles today.
It is expected that the PMS will vastly empower the police to improve the area domination, public response and crime prevention through the inbuilt analytics in the system.
PCR integrated with this PMS was launched from Dibrugarh Sadar Police Station today.
