GUWAHATI, Jan 5: Sensation prevailed in Dibrugarh after a policeman was found dead at his quarter inside the police reserve with an AK-47 bullet injury.
Madhab Chetia was attached as a PSO to Dibrugarh Addl. SP Sejal Agarwalla, and was found dead at his official quarter in the police reserve with a bullet injury, reportedly from his AK-47 assault rifle.
It is not immediately known as to whether he shot himself dead or was there any foul play involved but police sources said Chetia died of self-inflicted injury after he pulled the trigger on himself.
