GUWAHATI, Dec 5: Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time while outgoing CM and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar were sworn-in as deputy chief ministers.
The grand swearing-in ceremony was held at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, chief ministers of NDA-ruled States including Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by over 42,000 attendees.
Among other high-profile guests included several B-Town celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit.
