GUWAHATI, Jan 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives in the tragic collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and an army chopper in Washington DC. PM Modi also extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and said that we stand in solidarity with the people of the United States.

All 67 people on board the two aircrafts died in the air tragedy, marking it the deadliest aviation disaster in the United States in a quarter-century.
