GUWAHATI: The decisions on High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) second year examinations will be announced on May 3 or 4, said Assam education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday.
“Just wait 48 hours. Election results will be declared on May 2. The decisions on the exams will be announced on May 3-4,” Sarma told media persons.
It may be added that Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) postponed Higher Secondary (HS) first year examinations indefinitely following spike in COVID-19 cases in the State. The examinations were scheduled to begin from May 4.
The AHSEC said mew dates will be announced once the situation improves.
