GUWAHATI: With the beginning of Unlock 1.0 from Monday in Kamrup (Metropolitan) district, Guwahati has restored its normal life after three weeks of total lockdown.
Taking Paltanbazar as the nodal point, district administration instructed to open the shops located on the left side of the road from Paltan Bazar to Khanapara, Jalukbari to Noonmati, Jalukbari to VIP Road, Six Mile to Narengi and Six Mile to Panjabari on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, all the roads in city have been witnessing vehicular movement since morning. Footfall of customers in every shop or business establishment is also good as most of the people coming out to purchase their essential items.
