GUWAHATI: Cachar Police along with Partha Protim Das, IPS SDPO Lakhipur and BSF jawans arrested one dacoit in Cachar district of Assam.
According to sources, an ambush was laid by SDPO Lakhipur, Partha Protim Das and successfully apprehended the dacoit. A rifle and ammunition have been recovered from his possession.
Cachar Police Tweeted, “On the night of 16th Nov 2020 based on source information an ambush was laid by Partha Protim Das, IPS SDPO Lakhipur along with police and BSF personnel during which one Dacoit was arrested and one fire arm with ammunition recovered.”
