GUWAHATI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cleared the air over the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) dates.

The CBSE will release the new examination dates of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) once the COVID-19 situation becomes more conducive for the conduct of the exam.

All the candidates who are eagerly waiting for the CTET 2020 exam are advised to keep a close check on the official website of CTET—ctet.nic.in.

Earlier, the 14th edition of CTET July 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on July 5, however, postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, major board and recruitment examinations across India have been rescheduled.

Many CBSE CTET 2020 aspirants took to Twitter last week and raised concerns regarding the CTET fresh examination dates. “The next date of examination will be intimated when the situation is more conducive for the conduct of examinations. You may visit the CTET website i.e. ctet.nic.in for related updates,” CBSE response came as a reply to a question tweeted by a candidate.
