GUWAHATI: Amid COVID19 pandemic, the Assam Arogya Nidhi has received Rs. 97.92 crores contributions till Friday. According to the information, 45367 people have donated Rs. 97,92,91,284.39.
Expressing his joy Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Inching towards historic Rs 100 crores! Never before in my long political / govt career I have come across a moment like this when people so overwhelmingly came out to join a cause. We’ve 97.92 crores under Assam Arogya Nidhi as donations for #Covid_19.Gratitude 45367 donors.”
