GUWAHATI: Contributions are pouring in for Assam Arogya Nidhi as the state has put up a hard-fight against COVID19. Till Thursday, 44834 people have donated Rs. 96,88,61047.92 to Arogya Nidhi to extend their support towards the government efforts in tackling COVID19 pandemic.
Taking to Twitter, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Every Drop Counts! Pleased to share that with the generous contributions made by 44834 people, we have received a sum of Rs 96.88 cr so far in Assam Arogya Nidhi. My humble request to all to donate their bit to win the battle against #COVID19.”
