GUWAHATI: Besides ensuring peace and order in Assam during the 21-day nationwide lockdown, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of law and order GP Singh has contributed financially to the country’s fight against COVID19. Singh has donated to Assam Arogya Nidhi and PM Cares fund from his salary for the month of March.
The top cop has donated Rs. 50 thousand to Assam Arogya Nidhi and Rs. 10 thousand to PM Cares Fund. Taking to Twitter, GP Singh wrote, “Got the salary for the month of March. Deposited INR 50,000 to Assam Arogya Nidhi and INR 10000 to PM CARES.”
