GUWAHATI: A COVID-19 positive mother gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl at Assam Medical College Hospital(AMCH) in Dibrugarh, Assam on Friday.
A team of doctors from AMCH successfully performed an emergency cesarean section on her and delivered two babies, of 2.5 kg and 2 kg . Both babies are healthy and covid negative.
NHM Assam Tweeted, “A story very #POSITIVE.. A #COVID #positive mother successfully delivered two IVF twin angels in AMCH, Dibrugarh today assisted by our medical team. Both the babies tested #negative & are healthy.”
