GUWAHATI: The death toll in Assam due to the COVID 19 pandemic rose to 115 with six more deaths in the State in the past 24 hours.
The six persons who succumbed to the viral infection are Sradhona Sarkar (72) of Jorhat, Pranab Saikia (43) & Aarati Limbu (60) of Tinsukia, Manik Sarkar (48) & Bhaban Likson (48) of Dibrugarh and Sajal Acharjee (63) of Sonitpur
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Six more #COVID patients have succumbed to their infections today~ Late Sradhona Sarkar (72) of Jorhat; Late Pranab Saikia (43) & Late Aarati Limbu (60) of Tinsukia; Late Manik Sarkar (48) & Late Bhaban Likson (48) of Dibrugarh and Late Sajal Acharjee (63) of Sonitpur”
