Guwahati: Coronavirus will be under control by Diwali 2020, said Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Harsh Vardhan. He also asked everyon to follow the safety measures, including wearing a face mask and maintaining social distance to fight the Coronavirus disease. The minister shared the information through a webinar on Sunday.
Currently, research is going for eight vaccines in India. Harsh Vardhan said that vaccine trials are in full swing, with clinical and pre-clinical trials underway.
However, he did not reveal the names of the vaccines while sharing the status of their testing phase.
Around 10 lakh tests are being conducted daily across the country.
