Guwahati: Thres more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the infection on Saturday. The deceased COVID-19 patients have been identified as Morning Pohleng (40) and Lila Paul (70) from Cachar and Hiramon Thakur (68) from Golaghat.
With these new deaths the number fatality toll rises to 101 in Assam.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Very sad to share the demise of three more #COVID19 patients today~ Late Morning Pohleng (40) and Late Lila Paul (70) of Cachar & Late Hiramon Thakur (68) of Golaghat. My deepest condolences to their bereaved families. Prayers”
