GUWAHATI: Good news for Kamakhya Devalaya devotees, as the devotees can now directly visit Kamakhya Devalaya without undergoing the COVID-19 test.
On the other hand, anyone entering the Shakti Peeth must produce a COVID-19 negative certificate.
“Yesterday we have opened the Temple gates for all devotees. Anyone can enter the temple premises now, no covid-19 test report is required for that. But for entering the Shakti Peeth, one must undergo COVID-19 test. The test can be done at the testing camp in Kamakhya Devalaya or a test result conducted within 72 hours can be shown during entry in the Shakti Peeth,” said a Temple official.
Earlier, it was mandatory for all to produce a COVID-19 negative test certificate to enter the Kamakhya Devalaya.
