COVID-19: Sonowal visits ICMR- RMRC in Dibrugarh

GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday visited Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in Dubrugarh to review arrangements to deal with COVID-19 situation in the State.

Sonowal held a meeting with the senior doctors regarding current COVID-19 situation and took stock of medical infrastructure.

“At ICMR- RMRC Dibrugarh, had a meeting with senior doctors regarding the #COVID19 situation and took stock of the medical infrastructure. The premier healthcare research institution, RMRC is hugely contributing towards tackling the pandemic in the state,” he said in a tweet.

The chief minister also visited newly-installed oxygen plant at Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh.

“We are working diligently to ensure adequate oxygen supply to hospitals across Assam,” Sonowal added.
