GUWAHATI, Dec 12: A Higher Secondary first year student of Cotton University suffered serious head and internal injuries after she jumped off from the second floor of the administrative building in an apparent suicide bid.
A suicide note has been recovered from the girl student’s possession.
‘It’s all my fault,’ the note read. The student hailed from Goalpara and was staying at a private hostel.
“Her condition is very serious. She has suffered multiple injuries as a result of the fall. She is currently in ICU,” said Dr Hitesh Baruah of Neemcare Super Specialty Hospitals, Bhangagarh, where she was rushed to after the incident.
